National Handwriting Day

National Handwriting day was on Tuesday 23rd January. As well as having a whole school assembly on the reasons behind why the day is celebrated, all children took part in a handwriting lesson. The children were all reminded about how to sit in the correct position for handwriting and how to hold their writing instrument correctly. Then, children all wrote a poem, song verse or a short extract of text in their neatest handwriting.
